Cavs owner Dan Gilbert tweeted, “Welcome home, @King James. I am excited for the fans and people of Cleveland and Ohio. No fans and people deserve a winner more than them.”

James is an Akron native and started his NBA career in Cleveland.
In 2010, after seven seasons, he made a live television announcement on his “decision” to join the Miami Heat.
James’ next move made headlines for several weeks after he opted out of his Heat contract for free agency.
The social media world was quick to spread the word that James is headed home.
Cedar Point said it stands ready to honor its original tweet of renaming a coaster after King James.
It's been fun to watch the excitement surrounding the return of @KingJames to Cleveland. We stand ready to honor our original tweet.
