Skincare company expects to bring 200 new jobs to Solon plant

SOLON, Ohio- A South Korean skincare company is opening a manufacturing facility in Solon and hopes to create 200 new jobs.

COSMAX USA hosted its grand opening on Tuesday at the former L’Oreal complex on Carter Street in Solon.

The office of Ohio Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor said Cosmax has invested about $28 million into the 330,000-square-foot facility and expects to create 200 jobs over the next few years.

Cosmax, which was established in 1992, produces cosmetics and dietary supplements.
