NEW YORK – Two sisters had no idea the other existed until a chance encounter in a writing course at Columbia University.

Lizzie Valverde and Katy Olson were introducing themselves during the ice-breaker portion of their class, that’s when they realized how much they had in common, according to CBS News.

They’ve become closer since discovering their bond, and Valverde has met their mother already.

But they plan to all be together when Valverde graduates on Monday.
