SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — A traffic alert issued by the Cuyahoga County Emergency Communications System warned drivers to steer clear of an area in Shaker Heights.
A notice sent on Monday said Warrensville Center Road and Chagrin Boulevard would be plagued by heavy traffic.
According to the Shaker Heights Police Department, the issue would last through Wednesday while an electrical problem underground is addressed.
However, no power outages are associated with the problem.
Crews will be working around the clock, forcing lane reductions along Chagrin Boulevard heading east, Van Aken heading South and Warrensville Center Road heading south.
Drivers should avoid the congested area if possible.
