SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio– A state of emergency has been declared in Summit County following Monday’s wicked weather.

That could mean desperately-needed funds for residents whose uninsured property was damaged during the storms.

Summit County’s Emergency Management Agency is collecting damage assessment reports in case the state or federal government agrees to provide emergency funds.

If you have uninsured losses, you’re asked to call your local city hall.
