Several Cleveland schools closed Tuesday as power outage hits Cuyahoga County

CLEVELAND – A morning  power outage in Cuyahoga County has forced a number of Cleveland Public Schools to close for Tuesday, October 25th.

Charles W. Eliot School, John F. Kennedy PACT and E3Agle Academies, Whitney Young and Adlai Stevenson Schools are all closed.

FirstEnergy is reporting that over 4,500 people in Cuyahoga County were without power at around 8 a.m. The majority of the outages were in Cleveland. Their website was estimating that power would be restored in Cleveland around 11 a.m. The issue started with a faulty power line which caused a problem in a substation.
