SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — A man wanted by the FBI in connection with seven bank robberies chose the Huntington Bank in Shaker Heights as his latest target.
According to Special Agent Vicki Anderson, he presented a note at the branch in the 25000 block of Fairmount Boulevard around 4:36 p.m. on Thursday.
As with previous robberies, no one was injured. The man wore a winter hat with ear flaps and had a powdery substance on his face.
He is described as a black male, approximately 6’0″ tall and 230 – 250 lbs.
Just two days ago, the man robbed the Huntington Bank at 920 E. 185th Street at approximately 4:41 p.m on Tuesday.
The same man is believed to have started his robbery streak a Dollar Bank in University Heights on Warrensville Road on Oct. 26.
After that, he allegedly robbed the Ohio Savings Bank on Lee Road in Cleveland Heights on Nov. 1. The next day, he robbed the PNC Bank on Lorain Road in Cleveland.
A few days later on Nov. 5, the FBI said he robbed a Citizens Bank on Mayfield Road in Lyndhurst.
