Second boater’s body recovered from Lake Erie near Geneva State Park, ODNR says

GENEVA, Ohio — A second body was recovered from Lake Erie near Geneva State Park on Sunday night.

According to ODNR, crews have been searching the water for two men who disappeared while boating on May 18.

38-year-old Cory Althar’s body was recovered on Friday, but 19-year-old James Dorsey Wells Jr. was still missing.

The coroner’s office has identified the second body as Wells Jr.
