At 1:30 a.m., the parents called the sheriff when the child was not in his bed. The parents found a door to the house open. There is a large-scale law enforcement presence searching around the home. It’s a very rural area. Search crews are on ATVs and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is in the air with a helicopter. Crews will also search on horseback. They are also using drones and dogs. Kaven is non-verbal and was last seen wearing a gray shirt and red shorts. The sheriff’s office says they do not want search volunteers showing up at the scene. More than 100 law enforcement officers with multiple departments are searching. However, they do say if you live near the area, they want you to check anywhere where a little boy might be able to hide. If you have any information, call the Summit County Sheriff at (330)643-2181.
