SANDUSKY, Ohio — A convicted sex offender accused of killing a Sandusky mother and her two children was indicted by the Erie County Grand Jury Wednesday on aggravated murder, rape and aggravated burglary charges.

Curtis Clinton, 41, was also indicted on rape charges related to a separate incident.

Clinton was accused of strangling Heather Jackson, 23, Celina Jackson, 3, and Wayne Jackson, III, who was 18 months old.

Jackson’s friends discovered her body inside her John Street home in Sandusky on Sept. 8.

Clinton was believed to have been invited into the home by Jackson.

They’d reportedly been acquaintances for a couple of months prior to the murders.

Investigators believe he acted alone, but say they do not yet have a motive.

Clinton has served time in prison for involuntary manslaughter and other charges.

At the time of this report he was being held in the Erie County Jail.
