CLEVELAND — The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum celebrated its 9 millionth visitor Monday.
Judy Herlihy traveled from Rochester, New York to visit the Rock Hall for the first time, and was surprised with a balloon drop and cake. The unsuspecting guest also received a special prize package which included a lifetime membership to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, dinner at the Hard Rock Café Cleveland, VIP tour of the Vault, a free Sirius satellite radio subscription and an anniversary prize package.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum opened 17 years ago in the fall of 1995. Spanning 150,000 square feet, the Rock Hall hosts seven floors of exhibits. The Rock Hall has also generated more than $2 billion in economic impact to northeast Ohio.
