Tim Tebow says he will not be speaking at the Republican National Convention

Tim Tebow posted a video to his Instagram account on Thursday refuting the rumors that he was going to be speaking at the Republican National Convention.

Earlier on Thursday, the New York Times reported that Tebow would be speaking the fourth night of the convention.

“It’s amazing how fast rumors fly, and that’s exactly what it is, a rumor,” he said.

In the video Tebow said that at this point in his career, he doesn’t have political aspirations, but that could change in the future.

For now, he said he will continue to focus on the Tim Tebow Foundation.
