CLEVELAND– The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is hoping to get new additions in time for the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this summer.

One of the most noticeable updates are the words “Long Live Rock” in big, bold letters out in front of the museum. That will welcome visitors to the new, larger stage and an outdoor cafe.

The Rock Hall will also get a “Rock Box.” The rock ‘n’ rock sculptures will line downtown Cleveland during the convention and play snippets from Hall of Famers.

A Rock Hall spokesman said the plaza will be complete by the RNC and the rest of the changes will continue into next year. But on Thursday, the city tabled the proposal until March 28.
