CLEVELAND-With less than 3 weeks away from the Republican National Convention, the stage is now being set.

FOX 8 cameras were the only ones inside Quicken Loans Arena Monday, as RNC leaders unveiled the latest improvements.

The convention is now 21 days away and today is day 10 of transforming the Q from a sports arena into a political convention hall.

The grand stage is where presumptive nominee Donald Trump will deliver his acceptance speech.

The Committee on Arrangements told us crews have been working around the clock setting the stage, lighting, acoustics and other logistics needed to make the convention go off without a hitch.

5-tons of steel beams were brought in for lighting just today. As of right now, 90% of the structural layout is complete. 900 seats had to be removed from inside the Quicken Loans Arena to prepare the floor.

Lyndsay Keith, with the Committee on Arrangements said, "We're actually ahead of schedule which is unbelievable.  We're working with a lot of professionals here at the arena and they're doing a great job."

In the past, it has taken 6 to 8 weeks to prepare an arena for a convention, but workers only had about 4 weeks because of the NBA finals and Cavs championship.

AT&T have also been working on improving the  bandwith and reception inside, with cell phones usage expected to be at an all time high.
