NEWCOMERSTOWN, OH – Neighbors in Tuscarawas County tell Fox 8 that a home there has exploded.
The Newcomerstown police confirm that there is a house on fire on Beaver Street, which is near a school, but did not elaborate on how the fire began. The Newcomerstown school district has cancelled classes for Wednesday, January 27th.
According to nearby business owners in Newcomerstown , they felt an explosion around 9 p.m. A customer told them that he had been out walking his dog when he heard the noise, and turned to see the house in flames.
