STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (AP) — A volunteer football coach whose house in Ohio was the scene of a party that preceded the rape of a girl by two high school football players has been arrested on a probation violation.

Attorney general spokesman Dan Tierney says Matt Belardine was arrested in Ohio last Thursday.

This comes after media reports say Belardine was arrested last month in Arizona at a protest related to the grand jury decision in the Ferguson, Missouri police shooting.

Authorities in Scottsdale, Arizona, said Belardine was fighting with protesters.

A hearing was scheduled for Belardine Wednesday in Steubenville. A message was left with his attorney seeking comment.

Belardine pleaded no contest in April to making a false a statement and enabling underage drinking that were related to the football players’ rape case in Steubenville.
