WASHINGTON– President Donald Trump quickly took to Twitter to react to the impending release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

The president posted an image of himself with the words, “No collusion. No obstruction. For the haters and the radical left Democrats- Game over.” The font matches the HBO show “Game of Thrones.”

This is not the first time the president has referenced GOT on his social media.

Last November, the president wrote another Thrones-inspired tweet to announce “Sanctions Are Coming” after announcing his plans to increase penalties on Iran.

After the latest tweet, HBO released a statement, obtained by Entertainment Weekly, responding to the president’s use of GOT imagery.

“Though we can understand the enthusiasm for Game of Thrones now that the final season has arrived, we still prefer our intellectual property not be used for political purposes,” HBO reportedly said.

Thursday, Attorney General William Barr held a news conference to release his conclusions on the Mueller report. He said the evidence was not sufficient to establish the president committed an offense.

Congress will receive a redacted version of the 400-page report at 11 a.m.
