CHICAGO, Illinois — The press office of President Barack Obama announced on Friday that Mr. Obama will be returning to the Cleveland area next week.
According to a statement issued on Friday afternoon, Obama will travel to Ohio, Florida and Virginia next week campaigning.
On Wednesday, August 1, the President will travel to Mansfield and Akron for campaign events.
The Akron event will be held at the John S. Knight Center at 77 East Mill Street. Tickets to the event are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Monday at 9 a.m. at three locations:

Doors are scheduled to open at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, and only those with tickets will be permitted entry. Obama is scheduled to begin speaking at 4:00 p.m.
Tickets for the Mansfield event at Central Park on Park Avenue between Diamond Street and Main Street will be available the following locations beginning at 1:00 p.m.:

The Mansfield event is scheduled to begin at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, August 1.
Thursday’s visit will come less than one month after Obama made stops in Parma and Sandusky for campaign rallies.
Obama has made numerous stops in northeast Ohio in the past three months.
Winning Ohio is paramount to the sitting president. The last time a Democrat won the presidency without winning Ohio was John Kennedy back in 1960.
