CLEVELAND– Interstate 77 north in Cleveland is back open after a four-hour shutdown Tuesday afternoon.
A truck carrying scrap metal lost its load near Interstate 490 at about 3:30 p.m.
The Cleveland Division of Fire said the metal pieces caused about 100 cars to get flat tires. Law enforcement vehicles were among those damaged.
At first, traffic was being diverted off the highway at Pershing Avenue. The highway was later closed north of Interstate 480, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
