A new poll has found African-American voters in Ohio are changing their stance on same-sex marriage, according to the Huffington Post.

The poll was released by Public Policy Polling Tuesday.

The findings are consistent with an overall national trend of African-Americans shifting their political views since President Barack Obama’s announcement on same-sex marriage in May. According to the poll, 35 percent of voters oppose same-sex marriage while another 42 percent support the president’s stance.

A poll of all Ohio voters has found 50 percent do not support same-sex marriage, a decrease from 55 percent of voters in October.
