AKRON, Ohio — An Akron woman is facing several charges, accused of trashing her supervisor’s office with glitter, crazy string and toilet paper.
According to Akron police, Samantha Lockhart, 24, is an employee in the Summit County Fiscal Office. She faces charges of breaking and entering, vandalism and criminal damaging.
Officials said Lockhart had announced her resignation prior to the incident, and Jan. 22 was to be her last day.
Police said she called off work on Tuesday.
That same day, she and an unknown man are accused of entering the fiscal office after business hours, using Lockhart’s employee swipe card to get inside. The two were carrying a bag and a carton of toilet paper.
The cubicle belonging to Lockhart’s supervisor was later found covered in toilet paper, crazy string and glitter. An unknown white powder got in to the computers, printers and scanner.
The victim’s file cabinet containing personal files was also opened, and there was damage to her sweaters and personal pictures of family. The powder was in and on the victim’s coffee cup as well.
Lockhart was arrested Thursday. She appeared in court and was released on a $2,500 bond. She’ll be back in court on Jan. 30.
