Police warn businesses about fake money being used in Put-In-Bay

PUT-IN-BAY, Ohio (WJW) – The Put-In-Bay Police Department is warning businesses about people using fake cash on the island recently.

According to police, a fake $100 bill was found by one of the golf cart rental companies Thursday morning.

Businesses and vendors are being urged to examine money closely to make sure that it’s real.
