Police: Vandal Scrawls Anti-Semitic Messages

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A man accused of spray painting anti-Semitic messages on a mausoleum was charged with felony vandalism.

The Springfield Township Police Department was called Thursday to Summit County’s Hillside Memorial Park on Canton Road.

Witnesses were able to direct police to Slavko Mazibrada, 56, of Akron.

He was arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail.

About $7,000 in damage was done.  Cemetery employees are working to restore the monuments.
