Police searching for Cleveland bank robbery suspect

CLEVELAND – Police are searching for a suspect involved in a bank robbery at the PNC on Pearl Road just before 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say the suspect is possibly a Hispanic male. He is described as approximately  5 feet 7 inches tall, approximately 160 pounds, wearing a dark colored button down shirt with thin vertical stripes.

Witnesses also told police the suspect may have had some scarring on his face and had noticeably discolored teeth.

Police say the suspect waited in the bank for a few minutes before approaching the teller. The suspect said, “Give me large bills. If I don’t get large bills, I have a gun and will kill everyone in here.”

The teller complied with his demand.

Cleveland police and the Cleveland FBI are asking anyone with information to contact them at 216-522-1400. Tips can be anonymous and there is reward money for any information that leads to an arrest or conviction.
