Police Search for Third Suspect Involved in Pizza Shop Robbery

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – Police are searching for a third person involved in the armed robbery of a Painesville pizza shop.

Officers say two armed men entered the Georgio’s Pizzeria on Richmond Street in Painesville around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

According to the police report, the men forced patrons and employees to the ground. They then took cash and other items from the employees, customers, and the register.

Police say they left in a vehicle that was driven by a third male. The trio then led police on a chase through multiple cities.

Mentor Police came into contact with the car on SR 2. The chase ended around the area of Rook Circle in Cleveland.

One of the men who entered the store, along with the driver, have been arrested. They are both facing multiple charges, including aggravated robbery and kidnapping. Both suspects will appear in court on Tuesday.

Painesville Police are asking for help in locating the third male. He was last seen at the scene of the crash. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact police.
