COLUMBUS, Ohio– Columbus police confirmed to FOX 8’s Gabe Spiegel Tuesday afternoon that Ohio State University Buckeye, Carlos Hyde, will not be charged in an assault case.
A woman alleged she was assaulted by the football player just over a week ago at a Columbus nightspot.
But, police told Gabe the woman does not want to press charges.
Hyde rushed for 970 yards last season.
Ohio State coach, Urban Meyer, had suspended Hyde from all football-related activities, pending the outcome of the case.
