CLEVES, Ohio — Police say an Ohio grandmother who was found unconscious in a bathtub with her infant grandson has been accused of using heroin while babysitting him.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says crews arrived at the Whitewater Township home — near Cincinnati — on Saturday after a Cleves man said his wife was passed out in the bathtub and his 4-month-old grandson was not breathing.

Police say emergency responders performed CPR on the infant. He was taken to a Cincinnati hospital where he is in critical condition.

Emergency responders administered Narcan to Kathy Huff, 42, who was unresponsive when they arrived.

Police say Huff admitted to using heroin before babysitting the child. She was arrested Saturday night and charged with felony child endangerment. She is due in court on Monday.
