OLMSTED TWP., Ohio-- Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a murder victim, found wearing women’s underwear and tied to a concrete block in a pond.

A neighbor spotted the badly decomposed body last Wednesday in a pond of McKenzie Road.

The man's body had a rope around his waist tied to a concrete block and a steel pipe, police said.

The victim was found wearing some pretty unusual clothing. He was wearing a red Betty Boop tank top, three black bras and a light black hooded jacket. He was nude from the waist down, police said.

Police said the man was stabbed to death, and may have been killed some time ago, based on how badly the body was decomposed.

"This is a very nice neighborhood. I've lived here my whole life. We've never dealt with anything like this," said a man who did not want to be identified. He said his family owns the property.

"I think the neighborhood will be on edge for a while. This is a major thing. This doesn't happen every day,"

Crime scene tape was still on a door to an adjacent building Monday afternoon. Police said they discovered evidence inside a vacant garage that may to be linked to the crime.

Police said they have no suspects. They are using dental records and DNA and missing person’s databases to try and identify the victim.

Police describe him as African American, between the ages of 20 and 40.

He stands 5'11’’ tall and is very thin, weighing 142 pounds.

He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Olmsted Twp. Police Department at (440) 235-3335.
