CLEVELAND, Ohio – We now know the identity of the man who police say shot and killed his ex-girlfriend and her grandfather in an apparent murder-suicide Sunday night.

According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office, Kevin Wardzala, 30, of Cleveland, shot and killed Brittany Reid, 24, along with her grandfather, Robert Clark, 66, before turning the gun on himself.

It happened at about 9 p.m. Sunday night at the grandparents’ home in the 16000 block of Laverne Avenue.

Police responded to the home after reports of several shots fired and multiple people shot.

Police say Wardzala had gone into the home and shot Reid before shooting Clark and her 68-year-old grandmother.

Wardzala then took his own life.

The 68-year-old woman was taken to Metro Health Medical Center and is in serious condition.
