Authorities looking for hit-and-run driver after woman struck and killed in Plain Township

PLAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio– Authorities are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck a woman Thursday night in Plain Township at around 11 p.m.

According to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle hit Terri L. Calhoun, 56, on US 62 just west of the intersection of Regent Avenue Northeast. Authorities say Calhoun was in the roadway.  The driver did not stop and continued west on US 62.

Calhoun was taken to Mercy Medical Center where she died.
