Police looking for driver who hit child on bike and kept going

EASTLAKE, Ohio–Police said they are looking for a driver who hit a child on a bike and took off.

In a Facebook post, Eastlake police said that just after 5 p.m. on June 6, an 11-year-old riding a bike on Lakeshore Blvd. at Reeves Rd., was struck by a car as the child entered the intersection.

Police said the driver left the scene.

The suspect vehicle is described as a small, mint green, four-door car; the make and model aren’t known.

The child was treated for minor injuries.
