Police look for van last seen dragging stolen ATM down street

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland police are on the look-out for a dark-colored mini van that smashed through the front of a pharmacy and drove off with an ATM.

It happened at the Church Square Pharmacy at East 79th Street and Euclid Avenue at just after 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Cleveland police said two suspect loaded the ATM into the van and fled. The whole incident took just more than one minute.

The van was last seen dragging the ATM on East 79th Street toward Chester Avenue.

At about 4 a.m., a van crashed into a pizza place in East Cleveland in an attempt to steal the ATM. Police have not said if the cases are related.
