COLUMBUS, Ohio — Classes have not been canceled, but police are investigating an “anonymous threat of violence” made online Monday night against The Ohio State University campus.

According to an alert on The Ohio State University Department of Public Safety website, the threat was posted online Monday night and the threat was made to the “campus community” for Tuesday.

Law enforcement officials are investigating the threat, according to the alert, and “it is out of an abundance of caution that we share this information and remind everyone to be observant and aware.”

Classes at all campuses are still scheduled for Tuesday.

Anyone aware of “suspicious behavior” is asked to call police.
