CLEVELAND -- Cleveland police are investigating another crash involving a vehicle that got on the highway going in the wrong direction.

The latest happened around 3 a.m. Friday along Interstate 71 southbound just past the Interstate 90 westbound split.

A car got on the highway headed in the wrong direction and crashed into a U-Haul. Cleveland police said alcohol is believed to be a factor.

Cleveland EMS told Fox 8 News three people were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in stable condition.

Last month, a 20-year-old college student died in a wrong-way crash on I-480.

That crash prompted a local fire chief to push for spike strips to stop wrong-way crashes.
