Police: ‘High-End’ Grow Opp Discovered

CLEVELAND — What was described as a ‘high-end’ marijuana grow operation was discovered in Cleveland on Friday.

It included motorized track lighting that allowed for a quicker growing process, the Cleveland Division of Police said.

More than 800 marijuana plants were taken from the Harvard Avenue address.

Steven Schiff was arrested in Broadview Heights.

Several pounds of marijuana was seized there along with $15,000 and a .45 pistol.

He was charged with felony cultivating marijuana and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday at 8:30 a.m.
