AKRON– A flash drive was left behind in a computer at a local college and authorities said possible images of child pornography were found on it.
Akron police said they received the complaint from Brown Mackie College on March 28.They advised the Summit County Sheriff’s Office about the incident.
It was determined that the owner of the flash drive lived outside the city of Akron and the case was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office.
The owner of the flash drive was identified as Christopher S. Hill, 27, of New Franklin.
A search warrant was executed at Hill’s home. As a result of the investigation, Hill was arrested for pandering obscenity involving a minor. More charges could be filed.
He was booked into the Summit County Jail.
