CLEVELAND –  A man and a woman were found dead inside a Cleveland home Saturday night, prompting not only a murder investigation, but a statewide search for a missing car.

Police were called to a home on East 140th Street at 9:40 p.m. after relatives of one of the victims, who had not heard from him in some time, went to the home and discovered the crime. A 52-year-old black male was found dead of a gunshot wound to his head in the home’s living room. A 26-year-old white female was also found dead of a gunshot wound to her head. She was in a bedroom.

Police say that a  car belonging to the female is missing as well and have issued a statewide alert for it.  The car is a red 2002 Saturn View with Ohio temporary tag B138686.  Anyone with information on this vehicle is asked to contact homicide investigators or call 911 immediately.

Police tell Fox 8 that they have no suspect information to release at this time. Fox8 and Fox8.com will update any information as it becomes available.
