Police arrest man accused of trying to grab children on Cleveland’s west side

CLEVELAND, Ohio– Police in Cleveland are investigating a case of child enticement that happened on Monday.  Officers were called to Cecilia Avenue for a man trying to grab children.

Police found the suspect and said he appeared to be highly intoxicated.  Witnesses told police that the suspect was seen talking with the children at around 4:30 p.m.; he was asked to leave the area.

At just before 8 p.m., the suspect was seen speaking with the same children– three girls, ages 5, 7, and 14.

At that time, witnesses told police they saw the suspect try to grab one of the girls. Police were called.

The suspect, who police identified as James Borzon, Jr., was charged with a misdemeanor and taken to jail.
