Casino, roads reopen following bomb threat near Public Square

CLEVELAND (WJW) — The all-clear was given just before 4 a.m. Friday following a bomb threat around Public Square in downtown Cleveland.

Police had closed all roads in the area because of the threat.

A security guard from the Jack Casino said the casino had been evacuated and was also closed. The casino reopened before 4 a.m.

Specific information on the bomb threat was not immediately available.

FOX 8 reached out to the Cleveland Division of Police and the Cleveland Division of Fire for more information.

While the roads around Public Square were closed, police did allow pedestrians full access to the area.
