Police: 3 arrested in ‘random act of violence’ against teen

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — Three males have been arrested in the assault and robbery of a 16-year-old male back in August.

According to North Ridgeville Police Department, the assault happened on Aug. 9. Police say the assault was “a random act of violence, and the victim had no connection to any of the suspects involved.”

Derrick Foster, 18, and Donte Dower, 18, face charges of aggravated robbery, felonious assault and theft. Marcus Kimbrough, 18, faces charges of complicity to aggravated robbery, complicity to felonious assault and complicity to theft.

A 17-year-old male from Lorain will also be referred juvenile court on a charge of felonious assault in connection with the incident.
