HINCKLEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Based on an incredible series of pictures, it’s amazing that anyone wasn’t seriously hurt after a violent crash in Hinckley Township Thursday afternoon.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, it happened just before 1 p.m. on Stony Hill Road.
Investigators say a 23-year-old was driving his Dodge Ram eastbound on Babcock Road, when he failed to yield at the stop sign at Stony Hill Road. His truck went off the roadway, struck a tree, a rock, then flipped over and slammed into a woman’s house.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The homeowner was not hurt.
A picture obtained by Fox 8 News shows the truck embedded in the front of the home. The impact caused significant damage to the interior of the home, in addition to the heavy damage sustained on the outside.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash; however, the man was charged with failing to yield at a stop sign and not wearing a seatbelt.
