CLEVELAND (WJW) — High weekend temperatures moved to thunderstorms Monday afternoon in Northeast Ohio, even turning into a small tornado in Lorain County.
The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-0 tornado did touch down in Eaton Township around 2:20 p.m. for about a minute.
FOX 8 was on the scene Monday, as seen in the video above, where a roof was blown off of a storage facility in Eaton Township. Thankfully, no one was injured.
A trucking company building also sustained damage in nearby Columbia Station, as seen in the photos below.
One FOX 8 viewer in LaGrange (also in Lorain County) captured the above video of ominous storm clouds gathering.
A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect for multiple Northeast Ohio counties throughout the afternoon.
