ALLIANCE, Ohio — Police are searching for the suspect wanted in an armed robbery at a Circle K in Alliance.

According to police, it happened at the 1198 Harrisburg Road location Tuesday.

Police said two employees were marking food items at the time and thought they were in the store alone.

A man grabbed one of them on the shoulder and put a pistol to the back of his head. The employee said at first, he thought it was one of his friends playing a joke on him. Then he turned to see the pistol at eye level and realized what was happening.

The suspect demanded the cash in the registers, gathered the cash and left through the front door. It’s unclear if he fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as a pale white male, around 5’10” tall with a thin build, a red beard and a shaggy goatee.

He was wearing a black pull-over with a white emblem on the left arm, a dark gray hoodie under the pull-over with a gray winter cap and a partial mask. He was also wearing gray jeans, dark gloves and gray and white tennis shoes with an orange/red sole.

The suspect was in the store for less than two minutes, according to police.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Alliance police.
