Photos: 27 kittens taped inside plastic container, abandoned in Brunswick

BRUNSWICK, Ohio — More than two dozen kittens were abandoned in a taped plastic container with holes in it behind the Brunswick Animal Hospital Thursday.

According to the animal hospital, 27 kittens ranging from two to eight weeks old were in the container that had been left at the rear of the animal hospital.

Police believe the kittens were dropped off sometime Thursday after 9 a.m. A worker found them at around 11 a.m. while she was on her break.

They kittens are not in good health and had upper respiratory conditions and eye issues. They were also infested with fleas. Some of them need to be bottle fed.
