Pepper Pike road shut down due to water line leak, police report

PEPPER PIKE, Ohio (WJW) — The Pepper Pike Police Department is warning people to steer clear of one area due to a water line leak.

The department showed a video on its Facebook page Saturday afternoon of rushing water off Fairmount Boulevard at Snowberry Lane and a police cruiser blocking the area.

Fairmount is closed east of Lander Road, Lt. Jim Colbert said, and may reportedly remain closed through Sunday morning as crews continue to fix the leak.

At this time, there is no boil advisory, but some water may appear discolored coming out of faucets.

“Cleveland Water is recommending you let your water run for a few minutes to clear the lines, if you are experiencing discolored water,” Colbert said in a statement.
