ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP, Penn. - Rose May, 15, of Sycamore, Ohio, and Triston Kindle, 16, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio have been on the run and a search for them in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania was called off on Friday.

The two teens are accused of an armed robbery at a gas station in Elizabeth Township. When an officer responded, he was dragged by their fleeing truck. He was not seriously injured.

“They were pulling out in a truck. He grabbed the male and was dragged onto Route 48 before he let go,” Elizabeth Township Police Chief David Kerestes told CBS Pittsburgh.

After several hours of searching on Thursday, including a police helicopter and ATVS, the search was called off.

“The female was last seen wearing a teal-colored shirt and tight legging pants. The male was in a grey sweatshirt and jeans,” Chief Kerestes said.

The teens have been using stolen vehicles while they've been on the run, according to police.

Police believe the teens have left Elizabeth Township and ask anyone with information to alert authorities.
