COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Gas prices in Ohio are hovering around the $3 mark to start the work week.
A gallon of regular gas was averaging $3.04 in Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s 13 cents less than a week ago. The price has dropped by a quarter in the past two weeks.
The average price was below the $3 mark on Monday in the Columbus, Dayton and Toledo areas.
The national average was $3.20 on Monday, 9 cents less than a week ago.
Analysts say gas prices will likely continue to fall amid decreased demand and lower crude oil prices.
