PARMA, Ohio (WJW) – The Parma Police Department says residents in the city no longer have to shelter in place Wednesday night.

Residents in the area of Pearl Road and Velma Avenue were earlier asked to either take shelter in the basement or an interior room, away from windows due to police activity in the area.

Police have not released details on the incident, but they say it’s over.
