PARMA – A few Parma firefighters helped rescue 12 goslings from a sewer earlier today near the shops of Parma.

A resident noticed a mother goose with only 1 baby, which she found odd, so she then found the other 12 babies in the sewer.

A fireman then dropped into the sewer to rescue all 12 of them without incident.

They were safely released near Ridgewood Lake.

The local Marc’s also donated 2 nets for firefighters to carry for future rescues.
