STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – Panera Bread teamed up with A Special Wish Cleveland on Saturday to host a baking competition for two kids battling cancer.
The kids were able to learn from Panera’s Cleveland Director of Baking, Dallas Cox.
Lilly Von Glahn, 9, and Izzy Caminero, 7, aren’t letting cancer get in the way of their dreams to become professional bakers.
The competition was held at SouthPark Mall in Strongsville so plenty of friends and family could come and watch.
“Our goal is to make Lily and Izzy feel special. We think that this will be a perfect day for both children,” said Jason Beudert from A Special Wish Cleveland.
A Special Wish is an organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children under the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disorder.
